The Recording Trade Affiliation of Japan (RIAJ) has introduced its newest batch of official certifications!
This month, SEVENTEEN earned an official RIAJ million certification for his or her 2023 Korean mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN,” which has had over 1 million items shipped in Japan.
Based on the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are licensed gold at 100,000 items shipped, platinum at 250,000, and million at 1,000,000.
In the meantime, BOYNEXTDOOR’s newest Korean album “HOME,” NEXZ’s newest Japanese EP “Hellmate,” and PLAVE’s newest Korean mini album “Caligo Pt.2” had been all licensed gold for over 100,000 items shipped in Japan every.
