EXO REVERXE: In-Depth Album Overview – Again Pocket

EXO have been inaugurated into my “Ok-Pop A-Z” characteristic, which implies something they launch robotically will get a full overview. To be sincere, I’ve regretted that rule over the previous few years since I haven’t vibed with the group’s albums since 2018.

Is there new work REVERXE any completely different? Learn on to seek out out!

BACK POCKET

Sigh. We’ve actually entered the a part of the album that feels completely disposable to me. So many teams find yourself releasing one of these nice filler as they age and I assume EXO is not any exception. Again Pocket is totally tremendous however does nothing to differentiate itself as a needed addition to their discography. The manufacturing has a pleasant, generic bounce and I welcome its mid-tempo vitality in between sleepier songs. The vocals are — after all — polished and the refrain provides a little bit of layering for texture. In a stronger album this would possibly provide good respiration room, however in an album devoid of highlights it simply looks like wasted area.
