In reference to my want to completely sustain with the J-pop trade, I’m planning on doing a weekly round-up of any new releases which have caught my ear. A few of these could have been lined on the weblog already, however my hope is that it will change into a one-stop store for anybody keen on what’s new in J-pop.
With that in thoughts, right here’s the place you are available: I’m one individual with one set of musical preferences, so please embed some other new J-pop tracks you’ve loved within the feedback so we will get a fuller spectrum every week.

ASCA – Giver
Beginning the 12 months off proper. I’m digging the power, even when the melodies aren’t wowing me.
ALI – Select Life (ft. Ashley)
Groovy.
BIGMAMA – The Parade (track of the week!)
This has such a pleasant sense of catharsis.
Gen Hoshino – Glitch
I personally dislike this type of skittering percussion. It makes a track tough to take pleasure in.
KAGUYA – KAGUYA
A good debut. It’s extremely generic, however the ladies appear gifted.
NOISEMAKER – North Wind (ft. GEN)
I wrote about this final week and now it has a music video.
Official HIGE DANdism – Make Me Surprise (track of the week!)
This has far more groove than their current stuff. I prefer it. Good refrain, too.
PIGGS – Firedance Saga (track of the week!)
That band title! I truly love this, although. Certain, it’s foolish… however these melodies are completely unbelievable. It jogs my memory of one thing Nanase Aikawa may need finished within the 90s.
SE7ENTHSENSE – Aagatteru
The audio on this video sounds prefer it was recorded in a tin can, however I admire the EDM power (till we hit the second verse, in fact).
White Jam – Bakyun (track of the week!)
Their just-released album has some nice tracks on it (that is certainly one of them!), which is prompting me to lastly discover their discography.
