CHICAGO In a shock transfer, Chicago’s long-running Riot Fest introduced plans to relocate to Chicago’s Douglass Park after beforehand saying a transfer to Seatgeek Stadium within the Chicago suburb of Bridgeview.
Riot Fest organizers introduced the transfer in an announcement on Wednesday:
Pushed by the overwhelming help of the Metropolis of Chicago and our followers, we’re excited to announce that we’re coming again dwelling to Chicago and Douglass Park.
If there was no Chicago, there’d be no Riot Fest.

The transfer again to downtown Chicago comes simply two months after pageant co-founder Mike “Riot Mike” Petryshyn introduced plans to maneuver the pageant to SeatGeek, citing challenges in acquiring permits for the pageant from Chicago metropolis officers.
